The project offers 182 homes to Newham residents in the form of one, two and three-bedroom flats, spread out between two buildings – 23 and 15 floors high.

Populo is Newham Council’s wholly owned housing company. With an eye on the long term they build environmentally friendly, community-focused developments. They adhere to the highest standards of design and attention to detail. Keeping Populo’s mission in mind, Base Furnishings strove to provide a concierge that matched our client’s ambition.
Our Design Philosophy:
We set out to create a captivating aesthetic that would capture and exhibit the vibrant energy of Plaistow Hub and its up-and-coming surrounding area. The palate is rich with green and cream hues that infuse the space with a sense of vitality and warmth. These refreshing tones create an inviting ambience and strike a calm contrast with the busy London streets. The tone is set straight away, positioning the development as a place to live, relax and have fun.
Our furniture complements the colour scheme. The pieces are carefully selected for their durability and timeless elegance. They are upholstered in fabrics designed to withstand the high traffic of a communal area and were strategically arranged to optimise space and encourage social interaction. Woven textures and wooden accents add a touch of organic charm and infuse the area with character.
We selected the décor with an emphasis on natural elements such as plants to further enhance the atmosphere. We strove to foster a connection with nature and promote a sense of well-being.
