Base Furnishings delivered complete furniture packages and window dressings for 110 BTR apartments at North Kensington Gate, a residential development by A Way of Living. The brief focused on creating distinctive, move-in-ready homes with broad appeal across the London rental market.
● Warm oak finishes, olive-green kitchens, black metal details and textured upholstery give the apartments a strong identity.
● Curved chairs, bespoke beds and terracotta accents bring warmth and character.
● The result is contemporary, welcoming and effortless to personalise.

Every item was selected to improve liveability.
Slim-profile sofas, nesting tables and carefully scaled furniture help the open-plan layouts feel spacious and balanced. Bedsides and chests of drawers add storage capacity, while durable, easy-to-clean materials meet the demands of rental living and maintain a premium finish over time.

Some of the apartments overlooked the neighbouring cemetery, which required a carefully planned window treatment solution.
Allusion blinds were installed across the lower nine floors, softening the cemetery view while maintaining daylight and privacy. Vertical blinds were used on the upper floors, creating a cost-effective solution that remained consistent with the wider interior scheme.

From concept to installation, all 110 apartments were completed in just six weeks.
Close coordination, reliable procurement and an efficient installation programme ensured a consistent finish across every home.
North Kensington Gate shows how thoughtful furniture, strong design and practical decision-making can turn a large rental development into a place people are excited to live in.
