Interior Design Team
Sogol is our Design Project Manager/Senior Interior Designer. She is responsible for leading the design of projects from concept through sourcing and purchasing, to installation and styling. She works closely with clients, architects and our design team to ensure that the final product meets the highest standards of quality and functionality. She oversees design projects and analyses budgets, creates original illustrations and infographics, reviews junior designers’ work and ensures a high standard throughout the entire design process.
Sogol has been working as an architect and interior designer since 2008 and was chosen as the most successful young architect of the year in 2009 in her home country of Iran. She uses designs as a means of expressing her ideas and beliefs to the world. She has an MA in interior and spatial design from the University of the Arts, London.
Sogol is passionate about diversity, equity and inclusion. She enjoys learning about minorities and getting involved in their communities. She is an advocate for equality and a fervent supporter of women’s and LGBTQ+ rights. In her free time, she enjoys painting, playing the piano and leading a healthy lifestyle for both body and mind.
Dalia is one of our talented Interior Designers. She joined Base Furnishings in August 2023. Her job is to turn client briefs into living spaces for any type of property. She creates mood boards, picking out the ideal furniture for our client's properties, taking into account site surveys, architectural details design style and budget.
Dalia has been in the industry for 10 years, having earned her BA and MA in Interior Design in London. Her experience covers a wide range of areas such as commercial and residential interiors, freelance work and academic lecturing. This previous experience allows her to better understand the spatial needs of our clients and help them maximise the use and functionality of their spaces.
Dalia is a qualified Yoga instructor and enjoys teaching classes outside of working hours. She enjoys running and being active – aiming to run at least 50km a month. She has finished a half-marathon and is training to become a PT and Nutritional Coach. Above all Dalia is a mother and enjoys spending time with her husband and their daughter.
